This is the second book in the trilogy involving Rod Richards. He leaves San Francisco after three years managing an apartment complex and ends up being the administrator of a mental health hospital near the world famous River walk of San Antonio.

A violent murder takes place and four patients and two staff nurses are identified as "persons of interest" by the investigating authorities.

An beautiful female CIA agent with an interesting past is brought in to solve the murder. Meanwhile, Rod Richards has to get the hospital ready for a critical accreditation in the midst of the investigation.

An al-Qaeda cell is suspected to be operating in the hospital or nearby neighborhood.

About the author:

John Payne is a retired US Army member who operated three small businesses and taught in several universities as an adjunct professor of business. He also work in the health care field as an administrator.

He has a B.S. from St. Norbert College in Wisconsin and a Masters from the University of Michigan in Public Health Administration. John is married, lives in San Antonio, Texas and has three grown children
