About the author:

Deanie Humphrys-Dunne spent her childhood in the tiny town of Easton, CT where her parents owned a riding school called Sweetbrier. She taught horseback riding for many years. She is a graduate of the Institute for Children's Literature. She has written one article for "Horsepower" magazine. Tails of Sweetbrier is her first book. Deanie loves spending time with her husband, Francis, their sons, Brendan and Shane,and their dog, Elliott. Some of her other interests include music, singing, watching equestrian events and reading.
