Real Dogs Don’t Whisper: Life Lessons from a Larger than Life Dog! Real Dogs Don't Whisper is a very touching book that people of all ages can relate to. Animal lovers will adore it, but it includes life lessons for everyone. It is a story about the owner of four high-needs rescue dogs and their adventures together. Even better, it's a true story. It is well written and easy to empathize with. I recommend Real Dogs Don't Whisper to everyone who has ever had a pet that they loved and shared a special connection with. This book will remind you how important that connection is and to cherish it for all it's worth.

Kelly Preston is, first and foremost, an animal lover. Raised on a ten-acre property in a small town in Pennsylvania, she grew up with horses, rabbits, and - of course - dogs. When she left home after college, she acquired Gizmo, an irresistible Lhasa Apso that started her on a journey full of joys and sorrows, hopes and tribulations, frustrations, endless lessons in patience, and above all else, love. All of this has come at the hands (more precisely the paws) of Gizmo, Betty Boop, Buffy, Carla Mae, and the inimitable Mr. MaGoo.
