About the author:

Heather L. MacLeod was born and raised in the military life, traveling all over the world whereever her father was transferred. The family as a whole liked animals, especially dogs. Heather just liked animals. Among her pets were rabbits, cats, horses and dogs of all shapes and sizes. Friends would say when they died they wanted to come back as one of Heather's pets.
