The Blue Flame

The Blue Flame

by Barbara M. Hodges

For seven years Kelsey Cafferty has fought Dirkk’s demon creatures of Daradawn, and for seven years, Regan Cafferty has thought her sister dead. On a cold, foggy night in San Francisco, everything changes. A rift between the two worlds is open again and Kelsey, now Queen’s-Commander, sends Peter Canterville through to bring Regan to them.

Peter Canterville, Daradawn’s high mage was born with a blue flame upon his cheek, the mark the Power bestows to designate its chosen. Kelsey knows that her sister, Regan also bears the same mark. And that her power is needed in Daradawn’s battle against Dirkk, the ex-baron of Cornith.

Regan hears Peter’s words with skepticism, which turns to fear, when she is shown Kelsey’s pendent.

In her journey to the city of Raya, Regan mind-links with the golden dragon, Zara.

Re-united with Kelsey, Regan is asked to lure the baron of Cornith into a trap, a trap that backfires and leaves Regan an unknowing tool for his use.

The Blue Flame is epic fantasy. Full of magic, danger, and adventure.
